| Aniao Islet, Brgy Zabali, Baler, Aurora |
Baler is not just for surfing, there are various historical and scenic views that you can visit:
If you are a small group, you can hire the tricycle. Its around 500-1,000/day, if it's just around Baler. If you will be visiting the other towns it ranges from 1,500 to 2,000. Aurora has actually standardized the rates. I suggest that you contact an Accredited Tourism Tour Guide / Trike Guide. One of this is Mr. Tolitz Ocampo 0918.355.6393. He is very accommodating and can explain to you a lot about Aurora.
These are the sites we visited:
- AROUND BALER TOWN (HISTORY AND CULTURE)
- Baler Church - I love the Spanish tiles inside the Church
 |
| Baler Church |
- Baler Municipality - you will see how clean and open the offices are.
- Dona Aurora Quezon House. They were also refurbished the vintage car. It's so nice! First-time for me to see a vintage car upclose and be inside it.
 |
| Museo de Baler |
- Quezon Memorial Park / Manuel Quezon's House
- Ermita Hill. Shows you a macro view of Sabang Beach. I can spend the entire afternoon here, enjoying the view, the coolness of the weather. You can also trek going up the cross
- Tromba Marina monument. Its a monument for the 7 families who got perished during the Tromba Marina tidal wave.

 |
| Balete Park |
- Ditumabo Falls (Mother Falls) in San Luis. There is a 30-45 minute trek to reach. They also built here their hydro-electric. Which made electricity cheap for the town.

One thing I've observed is that all of them are very nice, locals are very open to assist you anytime. Definitely a tourist-friendly province
Major developments were contributed by the family of Angara. We are blessed since we got a lodging facing the Sabang Beach (BBC Lodge). We can hear the strong sounds of the waves which was at first scary (especially if you are from the City) it feels like a storm is coming. But if you just stop, listen to the waves, feel the wind, and smell the waters, the entire experience will definitely calm you. A major break from the fast-paced city life!
