Dipaculao, Aurora is the town next to Baler. The Brgy. Dinadiawan, Dipaculao provides more scenic views, white sand beaches, rock formations. It's around 1 to 2 hours (depends where you want to go).
The nearest scenic spot from Baler Town is the Ampere Beach. Our guide suggested that the best time to go here is during sunrise - 6am. yikes!

Next stop, Dinadiawan Falls. Enjoy a cool dip and take photos. It's less than 5-minutes walk from the main road.
Few steps away, before reaching the Dinadiawan falls, capture the moment of seeing and taking photos with tons of white butterflies freely flying around. Amazingly wonderful! Good thing I am wearing a colored top!

Sad to say, we weren't able to book a lodging around Brgy, Dinadiawan. Yet it was a blessing in disguise, we got to stay in the next Brgy, which is at Halos Farm and Resort. It is located at Km. 256 Brgy. Dibutunan, Dipaculao, Aurora. This is in between Baler and Brgy. Dinadiawan. Contact number: 0998.395.5985; 0919.933.8706; 0919.933.87.05. The attraction of this place is the serene and quietness of the Farm and Resort. Plus the experience of living on a Tree House or in a Nipa Hut. It seems rustic, yet the basic necessities of shower, running water, mattress bedding, electric fan, and lights are present. What's more there are spring water pools, you can enjoy a warm dip and few laps. Then during evenings, you enjoy the quietness, hearing the sound of the crickets and the sound of the sea - as strong waters splashes through the stones. It's just nature-ly awesome!
Halos Farm and Resort is owned and run by a retired couple Engr Leonardo and Evelyn Halos. Their lodging rates is from 700 to 900. They also have a dorm-type lodging that can accommodate up to 30 pax. The dorm-type lodging is equipped with its own kitchen which is around Php4,000.

Oh and don't forget to order Tita Evelyn's Buko Pie! It's freshly made daily. They pick the buko from their own tree! They even give out free buko juice (drink-all-you-can)
I just super love the concept. It's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life! I will definitely go back in the future!

How is the road going there? Is it reachable by car?
ReplyDeleteThe roads are nice.. all paved. Yes you can travel by car. You can travel from Baler to Dipaculao (45 mins to 1.5 hours by car) or There is another route if you are coming from Nueva Ecija.
DeleteHow to get to Dipaculao from Baler through public transpo?
Deletethere are buses from baler to dipaculao, actually it will go down further...but there are schedule hours that it leaves. you need to ask around. if i am not mistaken, there is only 1 station where to ride the buses. hope it helps. btw, if you are going holy week, u need to take into consideration that there are few to none public transpo traveling.. thats what happened to us when we traveled to dipaculao. hence we rented a trike. and going back to town was a challenge, though by God;s grace we hitched from the people who also stayed in the same lodging as ours.
